VAGA is an environmentally friendly and decorative wall and ceiling panel made of polyester felt produced from nearly 100% recycled plastic bottles, and decorative slats made of plywood or medium-density fibreboard (MDF).
The felt has been granted GRS 4.0 (Global Recycled Standard) and the Fibre Oeko-Tex 100 certification, which means that it does not contain harmful substances, heavy metals or formaldehyde residues. The Finnish Building Information Foundation RTS has also granted the felt the M1 emission class label for building materials.
Felt with the assigned fire protection class of B-s1, d0 has been used in all panels.
To achieve fire resistance, the following panel components, which have been assigned fire protection classes, can be combined: MDF in B-s2, d0 (black MDF) and B-s1, d0 (brown MDF); plywood B-s1, d0; laminate D-s2, d0; veneer can be treated with fire retardant varnish B-s1, d0.
In addition to decorative characteristics, the panel also enhances the acoustics of the room by softening sounds for the ears.
